Across food, agriculture and industrial supply chains, significant volumes of organic and animal-derived by-products are still managed through fragmented routes. Material may be collected by one party, processed by another, treated for disposal elsewhere, and only partially converted into useful outputs. This creates unnecessary cost, weakens traceability, increases logistics movements and often leaves value trapped inside systems that were designed around disposal rather than recovery.

CESECO has been established to address that gap through integrated circular infrastructure. Our model is designed to bring feedstock control, regulated processing, energy recovery, water treatment, product quality and market alignment into one coordinated platform. Instead of treating organic material as a low-value burden, each project is planned around the question of how the highest safe and commercial value can be recovered from the same input base.

The North Wales project is the first flagship application of this approach. The proposed Eco Park is designed to process unavoidable animal by-products and related organic materials safely and responsibly, converting them into multiple output streams including purified animal fat, processed animal protein, renewable energy, treated water, fertiliser inputs, greenhouse produce and OEM pet-feed ingredients. This creates a more resilient business model than a single-output facility and supports a broader public value case.

For local authorities and government stakeholders, the platform offers regulated infrastructure, employment, skills development and a practical route to improved resource use. For industrial partners, it offers structured supply, offtake and logistics relationships. For investors, it creates an infrastructure-led project with diversified revenue lines, defined delivery milestones and a clear pathway from concept to operating asset.

ONE PLATFORM. MULTIPLE OUTPUTS

The CESECO platform is designed around integration. A conventional facility may focus on one principal activity, such as rendering, waste treatment, power generation or greenhouse production. CESECO combines these functions so that the output of one part of the site can support the performance of another. Heat, water, energy, proteins, fats and nutrient streams are planned as part of a single operating system rather than treated as separate opportunities after the plant has been built.

This matters commercially and environmentally. Purified animal fat can serve renewable fuel and industrial markets. Processed animal proteins can support feed and pet-food ingredient routes, subject to regulatory classification and product specification. Recovered energy can be used internally first, improving operational resilience and reducing exposure to external energy volatility, with surplus exported where commercially appropriate. Treated water can be managed within the site’s regulatory framework. Greenhouse production can benefit from controlled heat, water and CO2-linked opportunities. OEM pet-feed ingredient production can capture additional value from internal product streams without requiring CESECO to build a consumer brand.

The platform is therefore not a collection of sustainability ideas. It is an industrial model that uses process design, feedstock contracting, quality control and offtake planning to create a more complete value chain. Each project will be adapted to its site, supply base, permissions and market conditions, but the core principle remains consistent: recover more value, control more risk, and create a project structure that can stand up to the requirements of investors, lenders, public bodies and long-term commercial partners.
